Job Purpose

The Senior Mobile Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of high-quality native mobile applications using technologies such as Kotlin, Swift. This role requires hands-on experience in building and maintaining performant, scalable, and secure mobile applications with a strong focus on delivering seamless user experiences across Android and iOS platforms.

While native development remains the core priority, experience or familiarity with modern hybrid frameworks like Flutter will be considered an added advantage, particularly for cross-platform experimentation or support.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of mobile architecture, integrations, analytics, and mobile CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with product, design, QA, and backend teams to implement new features, enhance app stability, and support evolving mobile strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native mobile applications for Android and iOS using Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and optimizations focused on performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Ensure seamless integration of mobile apps with backend APIs, CMS platforms, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mobile app development with product requirements and user expectations.
• Identify and resolve app crashes, performance issues, and bugs using profiling tools and root cause analysis.
• Support the transition or coexistence of Flutter-based solutions where applicable, while prioritizing native feature delivery.
• Contribute to mobile CI/CD pipeline setup and improvements using tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or similar.
• Participate in code reviews, refactoring efforts, and promote best practices in mobile architecture and design.
• Integrate mobile analytics and monitoring tools like Firebase, Mixpanel, Sentry, and New Relic for observability and performance tracking.
• Follow security best practices and ensure compliance with platform guidelines and standards.
• Maintain and update mobile engineering documentation including setup guides, release checklists, and technical notes.
  
  

Key Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on mobile development experience with a strong focus on:
• Kotlin (Android)
• Swift (iOS)
• Experience with mobile application architecture, design patterns (MVC/MVVM/MVI), and performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON data handling, and asynchronous programming in mobile environments.
• Exposure to Flutter or other cross-platform frameworks is required.
• Hands-on experience with mobile build and deployment pipelines using tools like Fastlane, Bitrise, or similar.
• Experience with mobile observability tools (e.g., Firebase, Sentry, Mixpanel, New Relic).
• Knowledge of mobile security practices, platform guidelines, and best practices for app release and maintenance.
• Experience in handling app store submissions, versioning, and release processes for both Google Play and Apple App Store.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality code in fast-paced environments.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
