Job Title: Senior Software Developer (GStreamer)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with a deep understanding of GStreamer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of multimedia applications and frameworks using GStreamer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multimedia systems, software engineering, and open-source development, along with at least 5 years of experience working with GStreamer.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on GStreamer.
• Deep understanding of GStreamer architecture, including pipelines, elements, and plugin development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience in multimedia frameworks, audio/video codecs, and streaming protocols (e.g., RTP, RTSP, HLS, DASH).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in media streaming and processing.
• Familiarity with multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization in multimedia applications.
• Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN) and continuous integration practices.
• Strong understanding of Linux-based development environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree
(Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology).
Experience with embedded systems and working with hardware-accelerated video processing.

Familiarity with other multimedia libraries such as FFmpeg or OpenCV.

Experience in cloud-based solutions for media delivery and processing.

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.

Pay: ₹420,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
