Sr. AEM Developer

We're looking for a Sr. AEM Developer candidate with experience in AEM 6.5 and above, and AEMaaCS, to join our team in on site.

You will report to the Technical Delivery Manager, Dx, IT Applications.

You will be part of tightly knit, and enthusiastic team and will develop multiple web applications.

Technology You'll Use

Java, OSGi Sling frameworks, JavaScript, jQuery, Sightly, HTML, CSS, SCSS and other relevant languages for AEM 6.5 and AEMaaCS.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Design custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and server-side logic using OSGi frameworks by managing configurations for AEM 5 and AEMaaCS.
• Customize and extend AEM functionality using Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Sightly, HTML, CSS, SCSS and other relevant languages.
• Integrate AEM with other systems and third-party applications like Marketo, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Improve AEM applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness by conducting performance testing and implementing improvements.
• Implement and adhere to security best practices in AEM development by ensuring compliance with industry security guidelines.
• Work with cross-functional teams - UX/UI designers, content authors, and other stakeholders to propose new features and implement solutions providing a seamless and responsive user experience.
• Create documentation for AEM technical implementations, deployment processes, architecture, and best practices as per industry standards.
• Ability to engage with others on a global basis with ability to work with a diverse business application portfolio

What We'd Like to See

• Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and automation in a cloud environment using Maven, GIT and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and other team members to integrate AEM with multiple enterprise systems.
• Participate in agile development methodologies and attend sprint meetings.
• Experience providing engineering support to customer support team to resolve any critical customer issues including the ability to Experience providing engineering support to customer support team to resolve any critical customer issues in various stages and bring them to completion promptly.
• AEM certification.

Role Essentials

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital marketing consulting and 3+ years of experience as a web developer in AEM version 6.4 and higher
• Hands-on experience based on foundation of the Adobe product suite, including AEM, CRX, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics and AEM DAM
• Experience in frontend scripting frameworks such as JS, jQuery.
• Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions to resolve issues related to AEM implementation by debugging and troubleshooting of applications and integrations.
• Four-year degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, information technology, or systems engineering
• Experience with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
