Software Engineer (II)

Applicants need to be technically hands-on in software technologies – databases, scripting experience in R/Python/SQL, or similar, GIT, Containerization etc.. Must have experience in requirements gathering, design of software models, techniques/methodologies for developing performant and high-quality enterprise software systems. Have good analytical / problem-solving skills.

What you’ll do for us…

• Work for the product team to deliver and maintain Supply Chain Management products for multiple Industries.
• Design, develop and document industry-specific use cases and build them in the o9 platform
• Understand the o9 platform’s data model (table structures, linkages, optimal designs) for designing various use cases.
• Data crunching for business insights and recommendations using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Creation and execution of test plans, document issues, and track progress at resolving issues.
• Create the blueprints and accordingly formulate the business models using the key principles of planning, optimization, collaboration, and visibility.
• Participate in requirements and design discussions with consulting, pre-sales, and customers.

What you’ll have…

• At Least 4 years of experience with enterprise software/ complex scalable software
• Experience and/or knowledge with databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and Big data file storage system (Deltalake, etc.)
• Experience in one of the following - C#/ VB.NET / JavaScript /Java or analytical/scripting languages like Python. (Pyspark, Pandas, Polar etc.)
• Experience in GIT, Kubernetes, Containerization willbe a plus
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proven experience to take complete ownership of end-to-end design & delivery of solutions is an advantage.
• Experience in developing planning applications will be a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from reputed/tier 1 college. Computer Science, Electronics Engineers given slight preference

How the process works
