Senior Software Engineer, Android, Google Maps

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience in Android development, testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical fields.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end solutions, encompassing both back-end systems and mobile application development.
• Leverage data-motivated insights to drive growth strategies and roadmap for the team.
• Collaborate with cross-team and cross-functional partners from several other teams, (e.g., engineering, product and data scientists).
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting their technical growth and contributing to a positive team environment.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the engineering teams.
