Why We Need You!
We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer with a strong background in networking and security, particularly in VPN technology. As a Lead Engineer on our server-side development team, you will be responsible for the secure design, development, and maintenance of our software solutions. This role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Customer success Managers , and Developers to create innovative and reliable solutions. A robust understanding of Linux internals, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a strong customer-focused mindset are essential for this position.

What You Will Be Doing
- Fixing customer reported bugs.
- Fixing Security issues.
- Maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues in large scale complex environments.
- Troubleshooting customer reported issues
- Adding features to the Ivanti Secure Conenct (a VPN gateway)
- Ability to deliver feature in time and handling maintenance release.
- Improving the supportability of the product
- Implementing required tools as necessary
- Working with cross teams PLM and architects

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have
- 5+ years of hands-on software Engineering experience targeting Linux/Unix applications.
- Proficiency In-depth knowledge in C & C++ and good experience in Perl & Python
- Linux Expertise: Strong knowledge of Linux internals, including experience with multithreaded programming.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience with crash dump analysis and debugging tools.
- Networking and Security: Experience with VPN technology, networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS), and related security domains.
- Networking protocols : Good understanding of Networking Protocols (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, IPSec) a BIG PLUS
- Technical Fundamentals: Solid understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and standard programming practices.
- Software Development: Proven skills in design, estimation, coding, code reviewing, code improvement, and debugging.
- Agile Methodology: Proficiency in agile methodology and related processes.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and deliver high-quality work within schedules.
- Collaboration and Influence: Ability to influence peers and stakeholders to design top-notch solutions.
- Significant plus: of Experience working in Networking Security products preferably in SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF or Firewall products
- Customer Focus: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong customer-oriented approach.
