Senior Software Engineer, QA

Responsibilities

• Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Reviewing and analysing Use case / Requirement specifications
• Executing tests on source code.
• Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors.
• Documenting and evaluating test results.
• Detecting, logging, and reporting bugs.
• Tracking defects and helping troubleshoot errors.
• Reviewing test procedures and developing test scripts.
  
  

Education / Qualifications

• B. Tech /M. Tech in Computer Science, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in testing enterprise applications with both on-premises and cloud
• Design and develop test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and use cases.
• Apply strong knowledge of testing principles to ensure software quality.
• Perform REST API testing to validate functionality and performance.
• Utilize tracking tools like JIRA and version management tools like SVN.
• Apply strong DBMS concepts for data validation and testing.
• (Optional) Experience with automation tools like UFT or Selenium is a plus.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of testing requirements and results.
