
Overview
As a Software Test Engineer at Nokia, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the CNS CMG product through the development and execution of robust software test plans. You'll collaborate closely with software developers, test engineers, and product managers to ensure features meet requirements and are released with impeccable quality. This position offers a dynamic work environment where innovation and teamwork thrive, empowering you to drive features to completion while contributing to system design for seamless quality assurance.
- Develop, modify, and execute comprehensive software test plans to ensure product quality.
- Design and implement automation strategies for features in the CNS CMG product, enhancing efficiency. Script, execute, and maintain detailed tests verifying feature functionality against product specifications.
- Integrate Quality Assurance practices into the entire product lifecycle, ensuring high standards from conception to deployment.
You have:
- Master’s degree in computer science, or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years’ experience in a related networking field.
- Experience in test automation and scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Ksh/Bash.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as IPv6/IPv4 and TCP.
- Experience with 3GPP standards (UMTS, LTE, 5G).
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with packet core network elements, such as PGW, SGW, SMF, and E2E call flows for 4G and 5G.
- Knowledge of NFV (Network Function Virtualization) and technologies such as Kubernetes, Openstack, VMware, KVM/QEMU.
