Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and manage enterprise-level IT projects across diverse domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong techno-functional background, hands-on experience in backend development, and proven leadership capabilities in project and delivery management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale IT projects with complete ownership of scope, timelines, quality, and budget.
• Act as a Techno-Functional Project Manager, actively contributing to solution understanding and guiding the technical team where needed.
• Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure business goals are translated into clear project plans and deliverables.
• Drive project planning, execution, risk management, budgeting, and quality assurance, ensuring alignment with organizational metrics and standards.
• Manage cross-functional teams, mentor team members, and build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as Scrum Master when required, ensuring Agile best practices are followed and facilitating team ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
• Monitor team velocity and performance metrics; identify impediments and resolve them proactively.
• Interface with senior management on project status, risks, and strategic alignment; maintain transparency with clear and timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, delivery protocols, and DevOps practices including version control systems like Git.
• Act as a solution consultant, assisting teams and clients in understanding business functional & non functionals requirements, and translating them into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide inputs to pre-sales and proposal-building activities, including estimations, resource planning, and technical solutioning.
• Promote continuous learning, support onboarding of new team members, and offer guidance to less experienced staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience executing at least one enterprise-grade IT project from initiation to delivery.
• Hands-on development experience in any backend tech stack (e.g., .NET, Java, Node.js, etc.).
• Strong people management and team leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and drive results.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)
• Experience working with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Git, and other PM and version control tools.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and delivery lifecycle processes.
• Problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving outcomes.
• Experience in delivery governance, stakeholder management, and managing distributed teams is highly desirable.

Nice-to-Have

• PMP / Prince2 / Agile Scrum certifications.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in cloud-based project delivery (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Prior experience in pre-sales, RFP response, or client proposal support.
