Senior Technical Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and extensive experience in project management, with a proven history of delivering complex projects across various technology stacks.

In this role, you will take the lead in planning, executing, and delivering critical technology initiatives. You will collaborate with multiple vendors to assess the technical feasibility as part of a 3rd Party License Savings initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals and overall organizational strategy. This position requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation, streamline processes, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure outstanding project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team will focus on product enhancement and strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Over 10 years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in technical project/program management. Significant hands-on experience as an architect or technical lead in one or more of the following Oracle technology domains:
• Mainframe
• AS400
• Windows/Linux
• Expertise in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership in managing large-scale programs that span multiple domains and technologies.
• Strong experience in end-to-end solution delivery, with the ability to strategize and execute projects successfully.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards, best practices, and methodologies.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while proactively managing risks, challenges, and commercial concerns.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by promoting the adoption of new technologies and best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate effectively, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to facilitate discussions and engage effectively with others. Expertise in creating impactful presentations and reports using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with Analytics/OAC is an added advantage.
• Self-driven and adaptable, excelling in dynamic, high-energy, fast-paced environments. Skilled in collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams across the organization.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems architecture with a strong focus on AS400/Mainframe/Linux/Windows (L2 and higher)
• Proven experience in client migration.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain our roadmap,
• Setting appropriate expectations and ensuring our product and services meet our high operational excellence standards.
• A demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically superior written communication skills are a must Judgement, maturity, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.
