Senior Test Engineer - Automation Teter (Python & Robot Framework (Banking Domain)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Test Engineer with 46 years of experience in Python and Robot Framework, preferably with a solid background in banking or financial services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions to validate mission-critical applications and ensure consistent software quality.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Robot Framework
Create robust test cases for UI, API, and end-to-end testing
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
Perform test execution, analyze test results, and log defects with appropriate detail and severity
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the automation frameworks continuous improvement
Engage in Agile development activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Ensure test coverage, traceability, and documentation for all test cases

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
46 years of professional experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation
Hands-on experience in Python programming for automation
Proficiency in Robot Framework for designing and running test automation
Experience with REST API testing using Robot or Python libraries
Solid understanding of banking or financial services applications
Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation
Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative environments
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Goo To Have:
Experience using Test Management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail
Awareness of banking standards, regulations (e.g., AML, KYC), or Core Banking Systems
QA certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Agile Tester
