Shopify Full Stack Developer

About the Role

This position requires a full-stack Shopify Developer who can contribute to theme development, custom app creation, backend automation, third-party integrations, and store optimization. You will collaborate closely with marketing, UI, and operations teams to deliver scalable, high-performance ecommerce solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps (private/public/custom)

• Build Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Build and manage Node.js services for automation and data sync

• Integrate third-party platforms — payment, CRM, logistics, checkout, marketing tools

• Work with Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs

• Create and manage webhooks, middleware, and API endpoints

• Work with Admin API, Storefront API, and App Proxy

• Troubleshoot app issues and optimize performance

• Create and manage Shopify metafields and JSON templates

• Participate in code reviews and follow Git workflows

• Collaborate with UI, marketing, and ops teams to build scalable ecommerce features

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Shopify development

• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, Shopify theme architecture, and metafields

• Experience in Shopify App Development (mandatory)

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript (ES6+)

• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and OAuth

• Experience with Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL

• Experience integrating third-party platforms and custom APIs

• Proficiency in Git version control

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation services & workflow orchestration

• Knowledge of performance optimization for Shopify storefronts

• Understanding of Shopify Plus ecosystem and advanced features

• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
