Overview
Company: Respirit Healthcare Pvt Ltd
Location: Guwahati / Hybrid
Type: Full-Time
Experience: 1–3 years (Freshers with strong skills encouraged to apply)
Domain: Biomedical Signal Processing, Respiratory Health, Digital Health Devices
About Us:
At Respirit Healthcare, we are building India’s first smart, connected respiratory diagnostic platform – combining medical-grade sensors with AI-powered lung health algorithms. Our product includes a portable spirometry device connected to a mobile app to screen and monitor asthma, COPD, and other lung conditions — especially in underserved areas.
Apply only if you thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. We're building something from the ground up, and things move quickly — you'll face tight deadlines, real-world clinical problems, and continuous feedback loops. If you're looking for comfort or predictability, this may not be for you.
At Respirit, your work can impact thousands of lives by making respiratory diagnostics affordable and accessible in India’s underserved communities.
What You’ll Do:
As our Signal Processing / Data Scientist, you'll lead the development of algorithms that convert real-time turbine sensor data into clinically validated spirometry values (FEV1, FVC, PEF, etc.).
- Design and implement numerical algorithms for volume integration from airflow data
- Clean, filter, and denoise time-series signals (e.g., Butterworth filters, Savitzky-Golay, etc.)
- Develop methods for calculating spirometric indices per ATS/ERS guidelines
- Validate algorithm output with reference spirometer data
- Collaborate with embedded engineers and pulmonologists
- Create diagnostic visualizations (flow-volume and volume-time curves)
Tech Skills We're Looking For:
- Strong foundation in Python, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib
- Experience with digital signal processing, curve fitting, time-series analysis
- Familiarity with biomedical data (spirometry) is a bonus.
- MATLAB, TensorFlow/PyTorch (if you're into ML), experience in clinical data validation (Optional)
What We Offer:
- Chance to work on a first-of-its-kind Indian respiratory device
- Direct mentorship from clinical and tech founders
- Flexible work environment (Guwahati-based hybrid preferred)
How to Apply: Send your resume, GitHub profile (if available), and any previous projects on biomedical signals or time-series data to support@respirithealth.com or apply directly here.
