What You’ll Do:

As our Signal Processing / Data Scientist, you'll lead the development of algorithms that convert real-time turbine sensor data into clinically validated spirometry values (FEV1, FVC, PEF, etc.).

• Design and implement numerical algorithms for volume integration from airflow data
• Clean, filter, and denoise time-series signals (e.g., Butterworth filters, Savitzky-Golay, etc.)
• Develop methods for calculating spirometric indices per ATS/ERS guidelines
• Validate algorithm output with reference spirometer data
• Collaborate with embedded engineers and pulmonologists
• Create diagnostic visualizations (flow-volume and volume-time curves)

Tech Skills We're Looking For:

• Strong foundation in Python, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib
• Experience with digital signal processing, curve fitting, time-series analysis
• Familiarity with biomedical data (spirometry) is a bonus.
• MATLAB, TensorFlow/PyTorch (if you're into ML), experience in clinical data validation (Optional)
