Softobiz - Technical Lead - Full Stack Development

Overview

We're seeking an exceptional Technical Lead to architect, build, and scale our platform and leading technical direction for our India development team while ensuring security best practices and building highly scalable distributed systems.

Location : Hyderabad

Timings : 12 PM IST/1 PM IST(Comfortable collaborating with US team during their business hours)

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Leadership

• Design and architect highly scalable, distributed systems for our healthcare platform.
• Lead technical decision-making on architecture patterns, technology choices, and system design.
• Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and development best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
• Design database schemas and optimize for performance across MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Architect RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, and audit logging.
• Ensure data encryption at rest and in transit, and implement privacy controls.
• Design secure handling of sensitive healthcare data (HIPAA compliance experience is a plus).
• Create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
  
  

• Write high-quality code using Next.js, Nest.js, and TypeScript.
• Build complex features and critical system components.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues in production.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
• Work with Technical PM to provide estimates and identify technical risks.
• Collaborate with US engineering team during overlapping hours.
  
  

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to developers.
• Lead technical training sessions and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct technical interviews and assess candidates.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  
  

• 10+ years hands-on software development building scalable, production systems.
• Expert-level TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js/Nest.js, Next.js/React.
• Advanced database skills MongoDB and PostgreSQL (schema design, optimization, performance tuning).
• Distributed systems and microservices event-driven architecture, message queues, caching. Cloud platforms experience.
• DevOps Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
• Security architecture OAuth 2.0, JWT, encryption.
• Vercel expertise serverless deployments, edge functions, preview deployments, production optimization.
• HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent English communication and strong mentoring abilities.
• Comfortable collaborating with US team during their business hours.
