The Hitachi Energy India Operations Center (INOPC) houses over 3,000 energy transition technologists in three locations from grid automation, transformers, high voltage products, grid integration and service businesses. Spread over 3,00,000 sq feet, with nearly 50,000 sq feet of dedicated lab space, the center brings under one roof diverse engineering capability that has been built over the years, fostering collaboration to advance the world’s energy system to be more sustainable, flexible and secure. INOPC supports Hitachi Energy units across 40+ countries to deliver projects in 80+ countries.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Responsible for design and implementation of enterprise applications in the manufacturing domain
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Establish and foster good practices among the team.
- Ensure seamless integration, efficient operations, and robust security across all system components.
- Create and maintain documentation and collaborate with the technical analysts defining operational procedures.
- Lead and mentor software developers and foster a collaborative environment within the team.
- Think ahead and anticipate problems, issues, and solutions to improve operations.
- Ensure Hitachi Energy integrity guidelines are followed in the team Ensure IT security policy followed in the team Acts as role model for the team.
- Degree in Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in delivering and supporting enterprise grade applications, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing and custom software development processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Techology Stack like Azure, Net Core, Azure DevOps, SQL Server / and Entity Framework.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions.
