About the job:

We are looking for a motivated and curious 'Software Development Engineer - I' (SDE-1) to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career engineers who are eager to build scalable systems, learn modern cloud-native development, and work on real-world AI-driven applications.

As an SDE-1, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software components while gaining hands-on exposure to distributed systems, databases, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies such as LLMs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python or Java.
2. Support the development of scalable and modular software components.
3. Work with NoSQL and RDBMS databases for data storage and retrieval.
4. Learn and contribute to cloud-based deployments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
5. Implement basic authentication and authorization mechanisms.
6. Participate in automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality.
7. Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
8. Use Git for version control and follow software development best practices.
9. Work in a Linux-based development environment and follow coding standards.

Other Requirements:

1. 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. 2. 0-1 year of experience (freshers are encouraged to apply).
3. 3. Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python or Java.
4. 4. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
5. 5. Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) concepts.
6. 6. Basic knowledge of web development fundamentals (APIs, HTTP, REST).
7. 7. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) through coursework, projects, or internships is a plus.
8. 8. Awareness of CI/CD, testing frameworks, and Git workflows.
9. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
10. 10. Good communication and teamwork skills.
11. 11. Academic or personal projects involving distributed systems or cloud applications
12. (good to have).
13. 12. Exposure to LLMs, AI workflows, or RAG pipelines (learning mindset is more important than experience) (good to have).
14. 13. Internship experience in software development or backend engineering (good to have).
