Your role

• Function as a Core Banking as technical lead / Senior Engineer in the Wealth Management (WM) Division WMI Core Banking Stream
• Drive our Engineering ambitions on Cloud and AI adoption.
• Align and Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical solution/guidance on leveraging Core Banking and payments (T24/TPH) functionality to meet their needs.
• As a lead / Senior developer be a trusted advisor to our clients with a good understanding and Knowledge of WM Core Banking Domain and our current flagship products Temenos T24 & Payment Hub.
• Drive core banking product standardization with a product mindset adopting & implementing best engineering and industry practices
• Collect and analyze requirements, drive change, and manage end-to-end technical solution delivery.
• Play a key role in the design and implementation of business and system functionalities across a multi-disciplinary team.
• Prepare Solution architecture design, Functional Specification Documents (FSD), requirements scoping, signoffs, planning, client interactions, prioritization, elicitation, review test cases and preparing training manual for user
• Help develop an engineering mindset.
• Guide & help the other team members to upskill themselves on latest technologies
• Develop sound solutions for product improvements and enhancements.
• Drive the Hyderabad – India Engineering Center setup for WMI Core Banking Stream
  
  

Your team
In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the WMI Core team on WMI Core Technology Division managing Core Banking platform.

TEMENOS T24 is the core banking system that is extensively used by Wealth Management business users to perform critical business functions (covering Front Office, Traders, Operations, Treasury, Financial accounting etc.)

TEMENOS PAYMENT HUB is the core banking system that is extensively used by Wealth Management business users to perform client related payment functions.

We define the domain architecture strategy and solution engineering standards for Core Banking Platform within WMI Core Technology division and are responsible for developing, maintaining, and strategically transforming the application portfolio in close collaboration with our business sponsors supporting Private Banking (Wealth Management) division.

This role will be a part of WMI Core Technology division within the bank. The varied Technology landscape spans in Java, Spring boot, Microservices React JS, core banking products such as T24, TPH and related technologies. All the teams follow Agile and DevOps methodology to efficiently manage the development and delivery of technology solutions.

The Technology groups support the vision by providing digital capabilities, delivering high quality IT solutions and services to support the growth and profitability of the Bank.

Your expertise

• We are looking for a Proactive Engineering SME / Lead with 10+ years of experience as a Core banking Consultant or Lead (experience in Temenos T24 / TPH will be an added advantage), ideally within a banking or financial services environment, with a deep understanding of core banking processes and functionalities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a talent for translating complex business requirements into effective T24/TPH solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in managing small to Mid-size engineering team
• Be a Team player leading the multi-disciplinary team driving results
• Experience with managing offshore remote team will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in working in an agile environment. Deep understanding on delivering software using various IT solution delivery methodology and specifically on "agile" delivery approach
• Good Knowledge over engineering practices like 'Test Driven Development' / 'Behavioral Driven Development' and other 'agile' engineering practices
• Wide experience of driving and delivering complex IT Core Banking projects
• Extensive knowledge of Core Banking products Temenos T24 and TPH banking software, including experience in implementing end to end core banking solutions to fulfill the business requirements.
• Expertise experience in Temenos T24 technology stack and the integration patterns supported by Temenos will be an added advantage
• Very good knowledge in Temenos related technologies like TAFJ, ORACLE, Postgres (or other cloud native Databases) Integration Framework, Interaction Framework (IRIS)
• Very good knowledge in Core Banking modules (if not all, at least in few of them desired) - CORE/System, Securities, MM, LD, FOREX, Islamic products, Derivatives
• Good knowledge in Payments Domain (Especially in local payment flows and products e.g., European payment SEPA, SEPA Instant payments Target 2)
