Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of software for controlling and analyzing laboratory measuring devices, primarily in C#/.NET with WPF or similar XAML-based UI frameworks.
- Optional: Development of components in C++, JavaScript, as well as frontend elements with HTML and CSS.
- Optimization and adaptation of existing applications to new requirements and technologies to ensure long-term use and compatibility.
- Development and execution of unit and integration tests to ensure the functionality and stability of the software, including documentation and analysis of test results.
- Implementation and adaptation of software for communication with hardware components of laboratory measuring devices to ensure smooth control and data acquisition.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for internal use.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Profound knowledge in C# and WPF (or other XAML-based UI frameworks).
- Optional: Good knowledge in C++.
- Optional: Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for frontend development.
- Practice in the development, optimization, and long-term maintenance of application software.
- Knowledge in unit and integration tests as well as in dealing with test methods for quality assurance.
