Software Engineer - Go/Java (4-8y)

Overview

Join Cisco’s Intersight team and help build next-generation SaaS solutions handling Cisco Compute AI hardware. As part of a global engineering team, you will design, develop, and integrate innovative software to simplify IT for our large enterprise customers. • Build, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software in Go and/or Java for Intersight SaaS.
• Implement and apply compose patterns, and optimize data structures and algorithms for efficient, scalable solutions.
• Architect and review system develop for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking (ingress/egress) capabilities into product features.
• Work on integration with Cisco Compute AI hardware and related software stacks.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and chip in to best practices.
• Document technical invent, system flows, and implementation details.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in cloud computing, distributed systems, and enterprise networking.
  
  

• 4-8 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficient coding skills in Go and/or Java.
• Strong understanding of build patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in system design and architectural best practices.
• Proven understanding of networking concepts, particularly ingress and egress traffic handling.
  
  

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployments.
• Experience with SaaS-based product development.
• Familiarity with leading or interfacing with compute or AI hardware.
