Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our core engineering team in Bangalore. You will work on both frontend and backend components, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and help shape the architecture of our flagship platforms.

This is a hybrid role — 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize robust backend and frontend application features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Integrate REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based systems.
• Participate actively in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint cycles.
• Diagnose and debug performance issues in development and production environments.
• Contribute to improving DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end product features.

Required Skills

Technical Expertise (Any of the following stacks):

• Frontend: ReactJS, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Redux
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or Java Spring Boot
• Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP exposure preferred
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, caching, and security principles
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Linux fundamentals

Soft Skills:

• Logical reasoning and strong problem-solving attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• High ownership mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building SaaS platforms, especially EdTech, CRM, or LMS systems
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, encryption, or application security
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
