Software Engineer II - SDET

Overview

Strong knowledge of automation of APIs and UI.
Strong organizational skills for prioritization, reporting and skill building.
Can appropriately document defects and work with the team to closure.
Can appropriately estimate effort for work.
Can work independently or within a team depending on the test effort needed.
Higher level knowledge of systems involved in payment and point-of-sale industry.
Moderate troubleshooting ability for hardware and software issues.
Basic technical knowledge (LINUX and WINDOWS commands, Zephyr Scale Test Management, Gherkin Syntax, API REST calls, networking)
Knows the difference between spike, load, endurance, stress and volume testing and can execute performance tests using Jmeter or similar toolkit.
Can accurately point out gaps in customer requests and current functionality of their team’s product. Advanced troubleshooting ability.

3+ years in a Quality Assurance related position.
3+ years working in an Agile environment.
