Software Engineer II (Frontend)

LooprIQ Inspect is an AI application designed to automate quality and production processes on the factory floor. Using LooprIQ Inspect, customers can automate detection of defects in products, verify assembly of parts and much more.

LooprIQ Inspect is an AI application designed to automate quality and production processes on the factory floor. Using LooprIQ Inspect, customers can automate detection of defects in products, verify assembly of parts and much more.

We have built a cutting-edge micro-service architecture where we leverage latest computer vision AI models in the backend to run inference on real-time video, store inference results in a scalable middleware and present them to a user friendly front-end whose experience is optimized for operators using the app in a factory setting. Data from the app is stored in a noSQL database which can be easily connected to customer's ERP system to derive analytics.

Our stack is NodeJS + ReactJS for backend & front-end services, with each of them packaged & deployed as docker containers.

We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer who enjoys crafting clean, reliable, and well-tested UIs. You should have a strong grasp of React + TypeScript and a willingness to dive deep into how things work — whether it's browser behavior, data flow, or deployment.

This role is based in Pune, with 4 days of working in-office and flexibility to work from home 2 weeks a year.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and own frontend stack of LooprIQ
• Build and maintain modern frontend features using React and TypeScript
• Create interfaces that are intuitive, performant, and responsive to real-time data
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Write clean, testable code — everything we ship is covered by automated tests
• Deliver results in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment
  
  

Technical Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building frontends in a production environment
• Technical proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript fundamentals
• Strong testing mindset — experience with tools like Jest, Vitest, or similar
• Familiarity with API integration and working with real-time data
• An appreciation for UI/UX and the ability to translate product needs into usable features
• Curiosity about the full lifecycle of software — from development to deployment
• Experience of standard software engineering practices such as writing clear design specs, unit testing, CI/CD etc
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience with Docker and basic nginx configuration is a plus.
