Software Engineer (Python & NodeJS)

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer with expertise in Python and Node.js to join our growing team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs. You’ll work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI) and Node.js (Express/NestJS).
Build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
Troubleshoot and debug applications and infrastructure issues.
Contribute to DevOps and deployment processes (CI/CD, Docker, cloud services).

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Having at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, Express, or NestJS.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous programming.
Proficiency in working with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
Understanding of agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of frontend technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Background in unit and integration testing.
