Role Summary:
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer for the backend engineering team in the post-dispatch vertical at ClickPost. You will be a core member of the team playing a vital role in developing the vertical through product developments, feature additions, scale-up and scale-out enhancements, system reliability and end-to-end user experience enhancements.

Expectations from the Role:

• Proficiency in backend development.
• Strong understanding of backend technologies such as Java/Python, databases, Kafka, messaging systems, etc.
• Ownership: The individual should take full technical ownership of the product, including analyzing support issues, addressing onboarding concerns, and driving feature development.

Tech Stack We Work On:

• Backend: Java, Python
• Database: SQL, NoSQL
• Messaging Systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Other Technologies: Microservices architecture, Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), CI/CD pipelines

What You Will Need to Crack This Role:

• Strong backend development experience in Java or Python.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
• Ability to take ownership of technical challenges and work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize backend operations.
