Software Test Engineer (QA)

Overview

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Software Test Engineer with 2 years of experience in testing software applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both manual and automation testing and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective test strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts based on requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
• Conduct tests across different environments, devices, and browsers (if applicable).
• Create detailed test reports and communicate results effectively to the team.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience with testing tools like Selenium, QTP, JIRA, TestNG, or similar (depending on the role specifics).
• Ability to write clear and detailed test cases, scripts, and reports.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
