SOFTWARE TESTER

REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand business and technical requirements to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web applications, APIs, and database components.
• Test Angular-based front-end for functionality, usability, and responsiveness.
• Verify backend processes and business logic implemented in .NET Core.
• Validate data and write SQL queries to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Execute test cases, log defects, and track their resolution using tools like JIRA.
• Conduct regression testing, system testing, and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to troubleshoot issues.

MUST HAVE

• 1-3 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Good understanding of web technologies, especially Angular and REST APIs.
• Experience testing .NET Core applications (functional and backend logic).
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
