The purpose of the role is to test the applications (internal and client facing), identify bugs, issues and defects, and ensure the quality of software before release. The selected candidate will work closely with developers, managers, and stakeholders to maintain high standards of software quality.
In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Your goal will be to ensure the quality of the programs and systems that serve user needs.

- Overall adherence to safe practices and procedures of oneself and the teams aligned
- Contributing to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensures safe operations and compliance to company’s integrity & quality standards
- Driving a corporate culture that promotes environment, health, and safety (EHS) mindset and operational discipline at the workplace at all times.
- Ensuring safety of self, teams and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace.
- Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self
- Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards at all times

Role Accountabilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
- Ensure thorough coverage for functional, regression, and system testing
- Write and maintain test scripts for web applications for Automated Testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs
- Work closely with developers for debugging and issue resolution
- Ensure application functionality across multiple browsers and devices
- Suggest improvements to testing processes and automation coverage

- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent with strong programming skill
- 1-3 years
- Manual Testing: Functional, System, and Performance
- Bug Tracking
- API Testing using Postman
- Automation Testing: Selenium WebDriver, Java-based test scripts
- Cross-Browser Testing
- Database Testing: Data validation
- Programming knowledge in languages like Javascript, Python, Java for scripting
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Solid commitment to customer service with good initiative and follow-through
- Expert ability to assess problems and quickly formulate the correct solution
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and strong collaboration skills
