software tester (fresher)

Overview

We are looking for a Software Tester who is passionate about ensuring the quality of software products through both manual and automation testing. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to kickstart their career in software testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with the development team to identify, report, and track bugs while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the software meets quality standards
• Write, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and scripts
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve issues and verify fixes
• Ensure that all deliverables meet the functional and performance requirements
• Participate in test planning and design reviews
• Report test results, defects, and improvements to the development team
• Stay updated with new testing tools, techniques, and strategies

Requirements:

• Familiarity with manual testing processes and practices
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹12,000.00 per month
