Software Tester (QA) - Internship (WFH & Part Time)

Overview

About the internship:

Konnifel is looking for a software tester intern (QA) to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile platforms. You will work closely with the product and development teams to identify bugs, validate new features, and enhance the overall user experience.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Execute comprehensive manual and functional testing for both Web and Mobile (iOS & Android) applications.
2. Perform regression testing to ensure new releases do not impact existing functionality.
3. Test REST APIs and validate backend integrations using tools such as Postman.
4. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure a consistent user experience.
5. Document bugs with detailed reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and expected vs. actual behavior.
6. Track issues from discovery through resolution in collaboration with the development team.
7. Leverage AI tools to generate test cases, identify edge cases, create test data, and improve testing efficiency.

Stipend:

INR₹ 10,000 - 18,000 /month

Skills required:

HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Other Requirements:

1. 1. Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
2. 2. Familiarity with Browser Developer Tools for debugging and inspection
3. 3. Experience in testing mobile applications (preferably React Native)
4. 4. Understanding of REST APIs and API testing using Postman
5. 5. Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
6. 6. Familiarity with GitHub for issue tracking and version control
7. 7. Exposure to tools like Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics (added advantage)
8. 8. Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
9. 9. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
10. 10. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
