Software Tester (QA)

Overview

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and meticulous Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that the digital products we deliver are of the highest quality. You will be involved in the complete testing lifecycle—from understanding business requirements to final release—working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test cases (manual and automated).

• Identify, record, and track bugs and ensure they are resolved before release.

• Perform functional, regression, usability, compatibility, and performance testing.

• Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure smooth product releases.

• Assist in improving QA processes and maintaining testing best practices.

• Create clear documentation for test cases, test results, and QA reports.

• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews in Agile/Scrum setups.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role in software development.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium, or similar).

• API testing experience using tools like Postman

• Hands-on experience with manual testing across web and mobile applications.

• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar.

• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile development process.

• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Skills (Good to Have):

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.

• Exposure to performance/load testing is a plus.

• ISTQB or equivalent certification.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
