Job Overview:
We are looking for a Jr. Android Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in Android app development with a strong understanding of Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern development frameworks. If you are passionate about building high-performance mobile applications, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging services.
- Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and best practices.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
- Work with version control tools such as Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin/Java and Android SDK.
- Experience with MVVM, Jetpack Components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation), and Coroutines.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Firebase, Google APIs, and cloud messaging services.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and dependency management.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Good to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing (JUnit, Espresso).
- Knowledge of Compose UI and modern Android UI frameworks.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
