Sr Data Analyst

About This Role

In Gartner’s Services Analytics & Productivity team, we innovate the way the service teams help clients receive value and enabling smarter decision making by technology leaders who are our clients. As a member of this team, you will get an opportunity to work on some of the key programs which aim at driving sales and service productivity across Gartner.

This role would entail driving analytics for cross-functional efforts to drive our New Business and Growth. You would work with leaders across Sales and Services to identify areas of opportunities to drive adoption of POCs while ensuring the right impact as we scale thereby impacting higher deal conversions and win rates across geographies. POCs are a key vehicle to showcase Gartner capabilities and drive higher new business. You will also have opportunities to work on several business initiatives and contribute to problem solving leading to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Work with senior stakeholders to define problem statements, provide initial scope, and bring together cross-functional teams to help problem-solve and drive execution
• Be the subject matter expert and facilitator for quantitative and qualitative problem solving covering strategic priorities
• Support strategic decision making through a deep understanding of the business supported by descriptive analysis, proof-of-concept curation, and effective prioritization
• Deliver on and project manage cross-functional projects that drive strategic priorities across services & delivery
• Lead problem solving and ensure the right stakeholders and teams are involved at the right stage
• Drive transparency and clear communication across projects
• Synthesize inputs, constraints and expected outcomes across teams to inform strategic decision making
• Ensure successful roll-out of projects by working with cross-functional teams across L&D, Comms, Ops, etc
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Graduation in Engineering, Maths or Statistics from institute of repute. MBA would be an added advantage.
• 3+ years of experience in one of: business analytics, project management, project execution; ideally with cross functional projects involving process design and change management in a global set up
• Strong Microsoft Office expertise – Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Working knowledge of two or more of the following – R, Python, SQL, VBA Macros, MS-Access, Power BI
• Deep analytical thinker with experience in deriving business insights from data analytics
• Detail-oriented with high personal standard for quality and accuracy along with a strategic mindset to interpret and bring out the ‘so what’ from data
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; Be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill on them in a proactive manner
• Experience, maturity, and ability to prioritize and manage workload in order to meet deadlines; proficient in multitasking; Experience working in an international environment
