About the Role

We are seeking a Sr-Level Remote Data Engineer who will drive analytics and automation initiatives across the company. You’ll work directly with teams across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product to deliver actionable insights, streamline operations, and support strategic decision-making through automation.

This is a solo role, offering full flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive analytics strategies by establishing clear metrics, reporting frameworks, and performance dashboards.
• Partner with leaders across different departments to deliver actionable insights and support business growth.
• Oversee the design and implementation of analytical models and reporting systems that provide end-to-end visibility into marketing, sales, and operational performance.
• Champion best practices in data governance, automation, and analytics tooling to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of performance attribution models to evaluate campaign and business effectiveness.
• Create new automations in collaboration with departments to minimize repetitive tasks and increase operational efficiency, leveraging tools like Zapier, Make, and custom API integrations.
• Support annual planning, resource allocation, and long-term growth initiatives by aligning analytics strategies with broader business objectives.
• Continuously monitor, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and automation workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Hands-on experience building automations using Zapier, Make (Integromat), and Custom API Integrations.
• 6+ years of experience in a data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with dbt or Airflow.
• Previous experience working in high-growth distribution or wholesale businesses.
