Job Details
- Position: Sr Data Engineer
- HM: Ravi Chourdia (9 years at IQVIA, based out of Gurgaon. Handling multiple projects and hiring for onshore support projects)
- Location: Hybrid (Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi)
- Technical Skills Required:
- SQL (most important)
- Databricks (second most important)
- Azure, Snowflake, AWS (additional skills)
- Experience Required: 6-10 years total, 4-5 years relevant experience in Databricks and other technologies
- Preferred Background: Healthcare or life sciences experience is a plus
- Rounds: 2 rounds (technical)
- First round by the technical team
- Second round by Ravi Chourdia
- Mode:
- In-person (L1) for candidates in Bangalore
- Virtual for candidates in Chennai and Kochi
- Client: US-based pharma client
- Project Type: Ongoing project
- Contract Period: 1 year, with the possibility of extension to contract-to-hire
- Working Hours: 1 PM to 9 PM IST
- Certifications: Good to have but not mandatory (Databricks, AWS, cloud technologies)
- Challenges:
- Collaboration between India and US teams
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Interview Process: Virtual vs. in-person interviews
- Skills Focus: SQL, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, AWS
- Experience Flexibility: Less experience in Snowflake is acceptable
- Role Definition: Senior Data Engineer with 6-10 years of experience
- Shift Timings: No shifts, standard working hours from 1 PM to 9 PM IST
- Certifications: Not mandatory but beneficial
