Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing high-performance, scalable Java applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, a passion for clean code, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications that meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner across development and production environments.
- Continuously improve the performance and scalability of the application.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and suggest improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring (Boot, MVC, Data) and/or Struts.
- Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git.
- Familiar with build tools like Maven, Gradle, or Ant.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular/React.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization.
