About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our backend team. You will be responsible for developing high-performance APIs and managing data workflows using FastAPI and MySQL. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building scalable backend systems and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Work with MySQL to create efficient queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and other backend engineers.
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications and databases.
• Implement security and data protection mechanisms.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to tech decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Python backend development.
• Strong experience with FastAPI or other modern Python web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
• Proficiency in MySQL (queries, joins, indexing, optimization).
• Good understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with Docker and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (async/await in Python).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to Redis, RabbitMQ, or other backend tools.
• Basic frontend knowledge (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, React).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
