Job Title - Senior QA Engineer
Location: Bangalore, KA
JCI is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of testing strategies that ensure the delivery of high-quality software and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to advocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to advocate for quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
What You Will Do
- Lead the QA team in developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, including test estimation, execution, and automation.
- Manage and track testing activities at all stages, from functional testing to end-to-end system testing.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to assess and recommend testing procedures for products and systems.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices and advocate for quality across all projects.
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports, ensuring visibility and traceability of testing processes.
- Utilize your analytical skills to identify testing needs and develop test cases that cover functional and non-functional requirements.
- Engage in Agile methodologies to plan and execute sprints effectively.
- Oversee the continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring that quality is maintained throughout.
- Participate in defect tracking and resolution, collaborating with developers to ensure timely fixes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers, fostering professional development within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
