Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of services.
- Identify, prioritize, and document software defects, working closely with developers and product managers to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment on testing priorities.
- Contribute to the development of testing strategies and maintenance of test documentation.
- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing to validate software changes and releases.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. \
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and basic of SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with load testing frameworks (e.g., Locust). Knowledge of basic programming languages such as Python, Java, .Net with OOP concept and have clear concept of CI/CD.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Openness to acquiring skills in automation technology stack based on project requirements.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira,) is a plus.
- Quality Assurance related certification such as ISTQB.
- Scrum Certification.
