Sr Quality Automation Tester

Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our web applications through manual and automated testing, excellent documentation practices, and effective coordination with the QA and development team to meet project timelines.Key Responsibilities:

 Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and use cases.

 Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications.

 Perform manual testing for UI/UX, functionality, usability, compatibility, and performance.

 Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium/WebDriver, Cypress, or similar.

 Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing across various devices and platforms.

 Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools.

 Log, track, and verify bugs in tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

 Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers during Agile/Scrum cycles.

 Assist in regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing cycles.

 Provide detailed test reports, including defect reports, risk assessments, and quality metrics.

 Take ownership of testing documentation, ensuring clarity, completeness, and regular updates.

 Exhibit strong commanding and coordination skills to lead the all team and ensure timely execution of all tasks within the project timelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

 3+ years of experience in Web Application Testing (manual and automation).

 Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.

 Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior.

 Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.

 Proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or JUnit (preferred).

 Knowledge of SQL queries for backend validation.

 Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).

 Excellent documentation skills, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and version control.

 Ability to command and guide the QA team to ensure all tasks are executed within deadlines.

 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Should be having team management skills

Nice to Have:

 ISTQB Certification or equivalent.

 Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).

 Familiarity with security testing practices.

 Experience with mobile testing (Android/iOS) is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
