Sr. Software Engineer - IICS

Job Description:

Experience required: 5-12 years

• Should have developed and deployed complex big data ingestion jobs in IICS (or PowerCenter/SAP) bringing prototypes to production on Snowflake (or any data warehouse platform).
• Proficient in Cloud Application Integration (CAI) developments and understanding of SOAP / Restful api Interface design principles
• Confident in taking up ad-hoc API design & developments with limited technical resources sometimes open sources to integrate
• Proficient in reviewing API guides to draw high-level designing and quick testing ability through open sources
• Experienced in Reporting application integrations like Salesforce (Veeva)
• Strong in trouble shooting both ETL and API connectivity and transactions pro-actively to report and resolve in no time
• Good understanding of process notation and execution, proprietary languages to apply various integration design patterns
• Competency working with different relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server
• IICS Data Integration development experience with multiple data loading technologies fulfilling mapping specifications and integrating with CAI real-times
• Previous experience with ETL tools such as Informatica Power Center should be helpful
• Data modeling, diverse schema mid-high knowledge should be useful to pick-up other ETL tools on-demand
• Resource is expected to have hands on IICS experience and also Power center
• Should be able to collaborate with the team, develop mappings, rationalize existing code, and solve technical issues for the team Having Migration experience from PC to IICS knowledge is an added advantage Resource is expected to have hands on IICS experience and also Power center

• Experience in building advanced analytics solutions with data from enterprise systems like ERPs, CRMs, Marketing tools etc.
• Have worked in Snowflake data platform in designing/implementing the data models and SQL based transformations.
• Have experience in developing and building applications to process very large amounts of data (structured and unstructured), including streaming real-time data.
• Experience in writing complex SQL statements and debugging/improving performance of SQL statements using query profilers
• Good understanding of branching, build, deployment, CI/CD methodologies
• Experience in Data Warehousing / Data Marts / Data Lake Projects using Informatica Cloud
• Should have expertise in extracting data from different source systems like flat files, XML sources, Big data appliances, RDBMS, etc.,
• Design, develop, and support our Data applications and infrastructure utilizing various technologies to process large volumes of data
• Strong technical experience building data integration processes by constructing mappings, tasks, task flows, schedules, and parameter files
• Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
• Create or update technical documentation for transition to support teams
• Develop automated data audit and validation processes.
• Develop and deploy ETL/ELT job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback.
• Manage foundational data administration tasks such as scheduling jobs, troubleshooting job errors, identifying issues with job windows, assisting with Database backups and performance tuning.
• Design, Develop, Test, Adapt ETL/ELT code jobs to accommodate changes in source data and new business requirements.
• Proactively communicate innovative ideas, solutions, and capabilities over and above specific task requests
• Participate in design review sessions and ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
• Ensure data quality throughout the entire ETL/ELT process, including audits and feedback loops performing business solutions to sources of truth.
• Reviews work products (Technical design documents, ETL code, Unit testing documents etc.) and provide guidance to team members
• Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules as applicable
• Strong SQL Skills and performance tuning capabilities
• Good to have experience / exposure in Aurora, S3, Snowflake DB, RedShift
