Sr. Software Engineer (Front End Developer): Pune

Location: Pune, India (from office – Baner, Pune)

Hours: 11:00am – 8:00pm IST

Mode: Work from Office

We are looking for a qualified front-end developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for building and enhancing the ‘client-side’ and internal of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive mobile and web applications. Candidate must be capable of contributing to building robust and efficient web applications while ensuring code quality, maintainability, and optimal performance.

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience of 3 to 5 years in developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Angular CLI, Node.js, TypeScript, RxJS, REST API Integration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript UI frameworks.
• Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
• Thorough understanding of web accessibility standards.
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiar with SCRUM / Agile methodologies.

• Experience with migrating from server-side technologies (such as ASP.NET, PHP, etc.) to client-side frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.).
• Experience in reading and understanding ASP.NET MVC Razor syntax and translating it to client-side JavaScript/TypeScript.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Mastery of fundamental building blocks for web development, including semantic HTML and modern CSS features.
• Familiarity with tools that enhance CSS development workflow and maintainability.

• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS/SCSS.

• Competency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and event handling, with knowledge of popular libraries like jQuery.
• Knowledge of AJAX techniques for building dynamic web applications and enhancing user experience.
• Ability to effectively use version control systems (particularly GIT) for collaborative development and code management.
• Translating design mockups and requirements into well-organized and visually appealing web pages.
• Identifying and fixing bugs, optimizing code for speed and efficiency, and ensuring the reliability of web applications.
• Crafting code that is maintainable, modular, and follows best practices to support scalability and future enhancements.
• Participating in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, identify areas for improvement, and maintain overall code quality.
• Addressing technical challenges and resolving issues promptly to minimize disruptions to application functionality and user experience.
• Integrating seamlessly with API endpoints.
• Testing web applications to ensure they are bug-free and work seamlessly for the end-users.
• Implementing front-end performance optimization techniques with expertise.
• Accurately planning and estimating front-end development work.
