Product & Scope of work

​This position is with InfoScale (Data Resiliency) offering of the Arctera, which is software-defined storage and availability solution that helps organization manage information resiliency and protection across physical, virtual and cloud environments. It provides high availability and disaster recovery for mission critical applications.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background of modern web technologies and have worked on scalable, enterprise-class web applications .

The candidate should also have an eye for great design and a knack for pushing projects from conception all the way to customers. The ideal candidate should have minimum 4 years of experience and be proficient in designing, developing, and deploying scalable application from scratch.

In this role, you will design and develop Data Resiliency Control Plane with its complete ecosystem using the latest technologies. You will also own product quality and overall customer experience. This role includes designing scalable, modern frontend and robust backend services, with microservices/Kubernetes based deployment.

Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration with cross functional teams, demonstration of right attitude and sense of ownership and accountability are must expectation in this role.

Minimum Required Skills include:

• MS/BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field of study with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Frontend development expertise in AngularJS with Typescripts, with understanding of UX aspects and mindset aligned to it
• Backend development proficiency in Go, Python
• Hands-on experience with REST API design and implementation
• Experienced in dealing with databases like PostgreSQL
• DevOps experience with deploying applications in Kubernetes environment
• Understanding of security best practices including authentication and authorization, OAuth, JWT, certificate management, etc.
• Test automation hands-on with unit testing automation using CICD pipeline will be plus.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Well-versed with Agile Process
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to collaborate with various teams to implement innovative and viable solutions for commercial product and internal tool user interfaces
• Ability to communicate and collaborate among cross-functional teams in a multinational environment

Desired Skills include:

• Knowledge of Ansible (nice to have)
• Basic understanding and hands-on of coding in Java
