Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI/UX Developer with a strong background in WordPress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and developing visually appealing, user-friendly, and high-performing WordPress websites. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end development and UI/UX design principles, with a focus on translating designs into functional, efficient code within the WordPress ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

UI/UX Design: Conduct user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups; develop and maintain design systems and style guides; ensure designs are responsive and accessible.

Front-End Development: Translate designs into clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code; build and maintain custom WordPress themes; integrate third-party plugins and services; optimize websites for performance and SEO.

WordPress Expertise: Develop custom WordPress functionalities; work with various WordPress plugins and themes; understand WordPress best practices and security considerations.

Collaboration: Work closely with designers, developers, and clients to gather requirements, provide technical feedback on designs, and ensure seamless project execution.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, with a significant focus on WordPress.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design.

Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Portfolio showcasing relevant work.

Ideal Profile

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on WordPress and UI/UX design.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Experience with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
