Cloud Platform Team at Druva drives the backbone of everything SaaS-related. This team designs and develops features that cater to both Customer-facing needs and internal stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in evolving Druva's architecture, as the company scales further.
Key focus areas for the Platform Organization includes Druva Cloud Platform, Product-Led Growth (PLG), MSP Solutions, Ecosystem & Integrations, Licensing, Billing, and Revenue Systems.

As a Staff Software Engineer in UI you will be responsible for developing responsive and performant UIs using ReactJS and Javascript. This role requires good communication skills to collaborate with backend/server side engineers to define REST API contracts between UI and the backend and with Product Managers to define good user stories. Your primary focus will be to develop front end code with good Unit test coverage to ensure good coverage and quality of a feature.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in developing data intensive Web Applications.
- Mandatory skills – React, Redux, React hooks, npm, webpack and strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+),
- Familiarity with React Query for data fetching and caching.
- Should have sound debugging skills using tools like browser's developer tools, Fiddler, Postman etc.
- Should have a deep understanding of cutting edge frontend technologies, CI/CD tooling, SDLC processes.
- Expertise with web application architecture, microfrontends, application security and REST APIs.
- Should understand basic Algorithms and Data Structures.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools like Webpack or Vite.
- Knowledge of performance optimization for frontend applications.
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript, React.js, HTML and CSS, following best practices and modern JavaScript standards.
- Develop front end code with good Unit test coverage to ensure good coverage and quality of a feature. Write and maintain unit tests using React Testing Library and mock APIs with MSW.
- Build reusable, efficient components, leveraging our in-house React component library.
- Manage application state using Redux or React Context API, and handle data fetching with React Query.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
- Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Work with the Druva development team to support and maintain existing production code in the field and develop, deliver new enhancements & products.
- Work with other developers on the Druva development team on the implementation of common frameworks and solutions.
- Develop UT/CT and follow the best practices for code development and code hygiene. Write modular and unit tested code.
- Take end to end responsibility of the assigned tasks/modules/features by interacting with different stakeholders like Product Managers, UX designers, QA, etc.
