System Administrator

Overview

The System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of server and network infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems, applications, and services.

· Set up physical and virtual servers, ensuring they meet performance requirements.

· Monitor server performance and perform regular maintenance tasks.

· Apply patches, updates, and service packs to servers and associated application

· Implement and maintain security measures to protect server infrastructure from unauthorized access or breaches.

· Ensure servers comply with company security policies and industry standards.

· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues on servers.

· Provide technical support for server-related problems and escalate issues as necessary.

· Ensure regular backups of server data and systems.

· Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.

· Create and maintain documentation of server configurations, procedures, and processes.

· Document server changes and updates for future reference.

· Work closely with other IT staff, including network engineers, database administrators, and application developers, to support IT infrastructure.

· Provide technical guidance and support to junior IT staff.

· Optimize server performance and capacity planning to ensure efficient operation.

· Implement load balancing and high availability solutions.

· Wireless Networking:

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimum 2 to 3 years of Experience is compulsory.

· Microsoft Certified Professional in Servers.

· Deep Knowledge of Active Directory.

· Relevant Certifications will be an added advantage.

· In-Office and On-Site Support.

· Personal Vehicle is compulsory.

· Immediate Joiners will be preferred.
