System Administrator

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to manage, support,

and enhance our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in systems

engineering, network administration, virtualization, and cloud platforms. You’ll play a key role in

maintaining uptime, performance, security, and scalability of our environments.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and enterprise systems.

 Manage virtualized environments (OLVM, VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).

 Administer cloud services (OCI and AWS) including VM provisioning, backups, and cost

optimization.

 Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Watchguard,

Sophos, Sonicwall) and VPN solutions (IPSec, SSL VPNs, site-to-site and remote access).

 Manage storage systems including SAN/NAS, perform LUN provisioning, zoning, and

allocation.

 Implement and manage secure remote connectivity solutions for end-users and branch

offices

 Oversee data center operations including server hardware, storage systems, and network

infrastructure.

 Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability and

reliability.

 Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to support and optimize

infrastructure performance.

 Collaborate with security teams to ensure systems are hardened and compliant.

 Apply OS patches, updates, and perform system upgrades.

 Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

 Automate administrative tasks using scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).

 Provide advanced support for escalated incidents and resolve technical issues.

 Document processes, maintain inventory, and participate in audits.

 Mentor junior system administrators and provide technical leadership.
