Job description

As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our organization's Linux-based systems.This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong interest in Linux administration and a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment. The System Administrator will work closely with the IT team to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our Linux infrastructure.

Skills & Responsibilities

-Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux operating systems.
-Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
-Identify and resolve hardware and software issues on Linux servers.
-Respond to system alerts and troubleshoot system-related problems.
-Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems.
-Monitor system logs for security incidents and take appropriate action.
-Provide technical support to end-users on Linux-related issues.
-Assist in user account management and access control.
-Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
-Conduct performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
-Create and update system documentation, including configurations and procedures.
-Keep an inventory of hardware and software components.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

-Knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
-Familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols.
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
