Job Description
GalaxEye is a Space-Tech startup at the forefront of innovation, we are pioneering the World's First Multi-Sensor Earth Observation Satellite and aiming to build a constellation of indigenous micro-satellites with advanced data fusion capabilities. Our upcoming satellite Mission Drishti slated for launch in 2025, will set a global benchmark as the “World's First Multi-Sensor Satellite” integrating both SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) & MSI (Multi-Spectral Imaging) sensors on a single platform.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Build software for GalaxEye’s payload computers that handle data acquisition from sensors.
- Optimise data processing software for low-power & low-latency computing.
- Architect the software for next-gen GalaxEye hardware & software developments.
- Develop, review, test, and debug Linux device drivers.
- Collaborate with our operations team to understand their needs and to enhance the operational experience.
- Bachelors in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent in Python and at least one systems programming language (C, C++, Rust).
- Solid understanding of operating system internals, especially Linux.
- Experience with common hardware protocols/interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, etc)
- Understanding of the networking stack (TCP/UDP, Ethernet, etc).
- Experience writing algorithms, data structures, and multi threaded software.
- Good understanding of computer architecture.
- Experience with Linux kernel or device driver development
- Working knowledge of hardware bring-up and debugging, including the ability to read schematics/data sheets and use common tools (oscilloscopes, multimeter, logic analyses, etc.)
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: GPUs, ML accelerators, power management, high-performance networking, performance optimization.
- Experience with DO-178B/C, ISO26262 or other safety standards.
- Be a part of India’s leading space-tech satellite technology company.
