We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with 7-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support the business's analytics and operational needs.

You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineering teams to ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of data systems.

What Youll Do

• Data Pipeline Development : Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to move and transform large datasets from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Data Integration : Work with APIs, databases, and various data formats (e.g., JSON, CSV etc.) to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized storage.
• Database Management : Manage and optimize database systems (relational and non-relational) to ensure performance, availability, and scalability.
• Data Quality & Governance : Implement data quality checks, ensuring that data is clean, accurate, and accessible.
• Cloud & On-Prem Infrastructure : Deploy, monitor, and manage data solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premises infrastructure as required.
• Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide insights that drive business decisions.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Air byte, DBT).
• Strong experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with any BI tool, Power BI is prefered.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and their data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, RDS, Glue).
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g. Amazon Redshift).
• Good to have Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning pipelines and supporting data scientists in feature engineering.
