Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead – Software Developer who will play a critical role in managing and mentoring a team of developers while actively contributing to the development of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Node.js, React.js, and MySQL, and should be comfortable working on both frontend and backend development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full stack developers.

Drive code reviews, pair programming, and tech mentoring to build team capability.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization.

Actively contribute to hands-on coding, debugging, and architectural planning.

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and documentation.

Take ownership of end-to-end project delivery from technical standpoint.

Identify skill gaps within the team and organize training or guidance as needed.

Maintain a strong focus on nurturing team culture, growth, and continuous improvement.

Manage and communicate with stakeholders to align technical deliverables with business objectives.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer / 2 years of managerial experience.

Proven experience in leading or mentoring a team of developers.

Expertise in Node.js and React.js.

Strong experience with MySQL and understanding of relational database design.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Proficiency with version control tools like Git.

Experience with deployment and CI/CD processes is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Exposure to GraphQL and NoSQL databases.

Prior experience working in EdTech or product-based companies.
